Well, maybe not quite.

Most of the people who will be reading my very first blog post ever already know me quite well from my Facebook posts. But for those of you who aren’t members of my Color With Angie Grace group on Facebook, welcome to my new blog.

I think of my Facebook group as an ongoing party in my living room where I get to hang out with my friends and color. It started as a very small group – just three of us talking to each other. Over time it’s grown and I can honestly say that it is the center of my social world. Each morning, I start my day there with a cup of tea, good company and my morning post.

Sometimes my morning posts are motivational and full of deep thoughts. Some days they are about needing to vacuum and other much less deep thoughts. The one thing they all have in common is that I feel it’s important to pause for a while day and enjoy the company of other people who enjoy coloring as much as I do.

I’m hoping that blog posting will be a way to keep our conversations going throughout the day  – letting me write as ideas arise and letting you read a single post or a dozen or whatever you feel like reading at the moment. And of course, I don’t plan on these replacing my Facebook morning posts. They just let me ignore the clock more often and sip my morning tea with a bit less typing. (That way I get to check out all of the new colorings sooner.) I also hope that these posts will help non-Facebookers feel that they are a welcome guests at our living room party too.

I do apologize for not enabling comments on my blog posts here – but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate you stopping by to visit. You can always drop me a line through my website message form whenever you like. I’m not able to answer all of the e-mails I receive, but I do read every one of them and appreciate hearing from you.

OK! I think my first post jitters are over. (Whew!) Let’s just go straight to the second one now.  🙂
