Slow coloring day three on this picture so far – and I’m finding myself getting a bit more at ease with how long it takes for me to shade these little spaces. Instead of focusing on thoughts about how you all will be looking at the same coloring for quite a few days, I’m truly enjoying how each small shaded area adds so much lovely texture to this picture.
That’s about an hour’s worth of coloring for me today. Of course, that includes some “stop and admire” moments in there too. For me, the key to enjoying shading is to relax and let it take as long as it takes.
