This picture just keeps wanting even more pink. Even though my fuchsia pencil is the very shortest one in the entire box, it’s going to come join in the fun.
Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils can be purchased individually, and if I just have to use this shade this often I’ll just stock up with half a dozen of them someday. It’s okay to have favorites and life is too short to ration out colors that always make you feel happy.
Time to add even more fuchsia.
A few touches with a lighter pink shade.
And just for fun, let’s have one more set of shaded shapes. No committing to lots of shading or testing my shading stamina. Perhaps I’m starting to get a feel for how often I can add shading to a piece without pushing my patience too far. Then a couple little dabs of orange to spread the orange accents a bit further through the entire picture.
And finish off with even more pink. This color scheme has a much smaller range of colors than most of my colorings – and I think that those few tiny bits of shading helped me make a small color set go a lot further. I think I’ve got another new favorite of the moment!
