I’m still rather amazed that I’ve added so much shading to some of my recent colorings. You should see my stack of half finished shade pieces from all of the times I pushed myself beyond my interest and just had to bail out mid-picture. And then all of a sudden it seems like no big deal, and really relaxing and enjoyable.

I was so drawn into shading these warm tones into this coloring that I completely forgot to take any photos until I got this far! It is still slow going, especially since I’m using 3 – 4 marker colors in each little shape – but it is such a comfortable and inviting kind of slow.

This picture is probably going to take a while to finish, and it promises to be a lovely slow coloring journey.

Today’s coloring is from Centered For Crayons And Wide Tipped Markers (Angie’s Gentle Mood Menders – Volume 2) colored with Copic Sketch markers.
