I really enjoy my “For Crayons And Wide Tipped Markers” books for lighter coloring days. When life feels very spacious, I color more intricate pieces and when days feel fuller I often reach for one of my easier books. For coloring to be truly relaxing for me, it needs to be in balance with whatever kind of day I might be having.

Here’s a slide show with my step by step progress:

On a personal note: Today was one of those days where we had “joke rain” all day long. That’s the kind where it alternates between beautiful and clear, and as soon as you put on your shoes and reach for the door it just starts pouring down. Take the shoes off – rain stops. Put them on – it’s back again. A perfect day to color a page that lets you make progress quickly and is suitable for picking up and putting down as needed. 🙂
