The last part of a coloring is always the easiest for me. All of the colors have been chosen and the page suggests which colors it would like to have where.
I’ve made myself a little endlessly cycling melody to groove to as background music as the last of the spaces gradually transition to their final color.
Headphones on. Play button set so this loops until I finish the page. (Unfortunately the Soundcloud player doesn’t loop perfectly seamlessly at the end of the track. On my player I had this going non-stop without any interruptions for a bit over an hour.)
Just relaxing and enjoying the way the colors are coming together. Day One’s inspiration picture is a soft, lingering memory. Day Two’s ink drip is ancient history. Yesterday’s scramblie middle is in the past. Just follow the journey to its natural end point.
And there it is. One more coloring to add to the stack of completed pictures. An intricate pattern that captures inspiration, impressions, little moments of life unfolding and then holds them all in one place like a coloring journey snapshot.
(Today’s coloring is from Balance – Angie’s Extreme Stress Menders.)
(Colored with these Copic Marker shades.)
